The 39th edition of the American Music Awards 2011 nominees were announced today and it seems that everything exciting show!

Adele leads all players with four nominations. Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Perry’s band follow with three nominations each, and Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Jason Aldean, Kanye West, LMFAO, Pitbull Nicki Minaj and received two nominations respectively . This year’s nominees for 2011 Artist of the Year Award are: Adele, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne and Taylor Swift. (See the full list of nominations below!)

The artists include Katy Perry and Pitbull, with more names to be announced in the coming days. The show will be hosted by Lance Bass, Michael Buckley, Estelle, Sarah Hyland, Mitchel Musso, Josh Sussman and Xzibit.
